Join us for a morning of breakout sessions, networking, and panel discussion about practical considerations for shaping your career path in the field of Art Therapy.
This event is open to graduate Art Therapy students, recent graduates, and anyone in the Art Therapy community!
All are welcome to attend, but registration is required, as the event will feature breakout rooms with specific themes for participants to attend.

Break out session choices:
Job search 101: Deb Brass will lead this session, tailored to those seeking to gain a solid foundation for how to search for a job in the Art Therapy field. Topics reviewed will include: cover letters, resumes, networking, references, and job search strategy. There will also be plenty of time for Q & A with Deb.
Resume Review: All attendees participating in this session, please update/prepare an electronic version of your resume – and have this resume file open and ready for review on your computer the day of the event. Art Therapists will be leading small group resume review within the breakout room, so come prepared to maximize your time! You will get real-time advice on your resume here. Session facilitated by Nicole Porter Davis.
Making Moves: Now What?: In this session, Shereen Bar-or and Allison Williams will lead a conversation where attendees examine different parts of life/work/personal considerations while job searching or switching job. Participants will take part in an interactive Career Rainbow activity and practical information pertaining to professional associations and groups will also be provided.
Panel discussion will feature seasoned Art Therapists representing a diversity of professional experience, settings, and specialties. They will speak to their career experiences and answer questions from attendees.
