Art Therapy NYATA
Call for Presenters
As part of it’s ongoing dedication to provide affordable and dynamic CE opportunities for Art Therapists and LCATs, NYATA is calling for CE proposals for this spring and summer. The New York Art Therapy Association (NYATA) is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed creative arts therapists #CAT-0013.
We are looking to widen the scope of the CE presentations we offer through partnership with professionals in our communities! If you are interested in putting in a proposal for a CE presentation or workshop, please fill out the “NYATA CE Presentation proposal” form and email the completed form to: NYATAinformation@gmail.com
There are many benefits to presenting, including gaining professional practice, widening networks, earning triple CE credits when you present (example: presenters earn 3 CE contact hours for a 1 hour presentation, 6 CE’s for a 2 hour presentation, etc), sharing your passion and areas of expertise, and a modest honorarium from NYATA.
If you are not familiar with Zoom or feel intimidated by this online presentation medium, please don’t let this hinder you from putting in a proposal! NYATA Board members are seasoned zoom presenters and will partner with you to take care of the technology while you focus on presenting. We will be with you every step of the way.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, we look forward to being able to announce and advertise new CE presentations and workshops in the near future.
Sincerely, Deb Brass, President New York Art Therapy Association (NYATA) Board of Directors
