Chalk It up To Children’s Mental Health (up to $2500)
This grant money is available to a NYATA member who has a desire to develop or maintain an art therapy program that benefits children and/ or adolescents. The art therapy program must benefit children and adolescents in the Long Beach and surrounding areas on Long Island. You can request all or part of the $2500.00 grant money for your program.
The recipient will be asked to share with the NYATA board a short article (including pictures, if possible) on how the grant money has helped to establish or sustain the program.
Grant Money Instructions and Check List
APPLICATION DIRECTIONS – In order to apply for the grant money, applicants must be a Member of the New York Art Therapy Association, as well as a Licensed Creative Arts therapist (LCAT) in New York State. Scholarships are granted only to those whose program is established or being created to benefit Children and Adolescents in the Long Beach and surrounding Long Island areas.
DEADLINE – May 10, 2017 is the deadline for applying for all applications. Incomplete application packets and those postmarked after May 10, 2017 will not be considered.
DATE AWARDED – Recipients will be notified that they have received an award by email and letter.
GRANT MONEY REQUESTS – Money request can be made for the full amount or part of the 2500 offering.
